My friend Emily has this remarkable quality about her that just screams "EUROPEAN ROYALTY", or something of the sort:) Anyway every time I saw her I just wanted to do a piece based on the traditional style of portraits. Kinda like the ones you would find in the Smithsonian you know? (Although I am no way as good as the greats!) Anyway I had fun painting this one, and I hope that Emily is pleased with the outcome.
